Privacy Blur

Blur part of your screen on Zoom, Meet and Teams

Zoom, Meet and Teams share everything in the window you pick. Privacy Blur blurs the parts of a web page you choose, so the people on the call see the layout but not the private details.

FAQ

Can I blur only part of a shared tab in Google Meet?

Meet has no built-in way to hide part of a tab. With Privacy Blur you blur the parts in the page itself, so they are blurred in Meet, Zoom, Teams and in recordings.

Will the blur stay when I switch pages during the call?

Yes. What you blur is saved per site and comes back on every page of that site, including after a reload.

Does it blur desktop apps like Excel or Slack?

No. It works on web pages in Chrome. Open the web version of the app (for example Slack or Outlook in the browser) to blur it.
